An aim of this standard, is a provision of reliable organic product guarantee to consumer in terms of environmental and social aspects throughout production chain. Standard; covers all production stages starting from raw fiber production, yarn, weaving-knitting, dying, dressing and finishing processes to ready-made garment and trade of it.
Traceability, social conditions, environmental conditions, approved paint-chemicals and accessories are main criterias of this standard. It has different fiber compositions in itself. Minimum % 70 organic fiber (cotton, linen, wool and silk) and maximum %10 synthetic – regenerated fiber are permitted to be used. Sock and sportswear products are exceptionally permitted to use %25 synthetic-regenerated fiber.
